Ryan needed his full brimmed cowboy hat to shade his eyes. Not so much from the sun, but from Natalie’s radiantly bright and shining smile. She lit up the room everywhere she went on her wedding day. She had a lot to smile about, the biggest reason was her rock, Ryan. A true gentleman, Ryan has enhanced her life as much as she has his. So today was about promising to be there for each other forever with the support of their friends and family gathered at The Red Barn Guest Ranch.
Natalie’s mother made many wooden decorations that were like little love notes leading guests along the property. The presence of love from the family was clearly evident in these gestures. With her mother’s cowgirl boots and her grandmother’s garter, Natalie was honoring her family and the way they taught her how to love. Her love that is now inspired by Ryan, who is secretively a fiery romantic man hidden beneath a tough exterior. The tears of overwhelming love and joy that landed on Ryan’s letter to Natalie were a true testament to his strong affection for her.
Natalie and Ryan met line dancing, making the country themed wedding perfect for the Red Barn Guest Ranch venue – the big red barn is a bright symbolic backdrop to the couples mutual roots. The clip clopping of cowboy boots created a celebratory rhythm in the air while the peaceful ponds added a natural melody to the boot steps. The continuous crescendo of the day’s harmony had everybody ready to two step as nightfall approached!
After the dancing began to take the night, we slipped away toward the horizon for a sunset bridal session among the white picket fences, barns, tractors, and horses. Both Natalie and Ryan are avid riders. When the horses greeted the couple as if to say “congratulations,” the quiet moment of connection to nature was the perfect completion to the best day ever.
Natalie and Ryan, thank you so much for allowing us to capture your wonderful day! It was so fun watching your love for one another shine. We hope to go on another adventure with you in the years to come, but in the meantime, enjoy each and every day with each other!
